Learning Cloud is pleased to announce the newest member of our faculty department, Gerry Le Roux, who will be joining us after the Easter break. We know that our
photography students will be happy in his very capable hands.
Gerry has a
background in the sciences – having studied mathematics, physics, chemistry and
computer science at University, as well as working for The Council for
Scientific and Industrial Research for over 10 years.
In 2005 he
decided to turn his passion for photography into a career by receiving formal
photography training, which he completed at the South African National College
of Photography.
Gerry started his own photography company in 2006, which he ran until 2010. In 2011 he started tutoring for leading education providers and doing night time lectures.
He now
combines his academic background with his artistic talents through his website sciencelens, as well as doing photography based projects for a number of
leading organisations such as The Riddet Institute, Massey University, Midas
Motor Group and many more.
You can view
Gerrys work at sciencelens or come on board and learn from him directly by
undertaking one of our photography courses.
